Cali Green
Sequatchie County High School senior Cali Green recently signed to play softball and continue her education at Bryan College. She plans to major in Education and become a teacher.
Green, a pitcher and outfielder, helped Sequatchie to a fourth place state finish in the 2019 Class AA state tournament and has also had success on her travel team, the Batbusters-Fowler.
For the 2020 summer and fall travel seasons, Green batted .347 over 36 games, adding nine walks for a .420 on-base percentage.
She recorded 16 RBI, 14 runs, and nine doubles. Pitching, she had a 3.60 ERA over 76 innings, facing strong batters.
Green is a three-sport athlete at Sequatchie County, in addition to being a standout in the classroom. She is a starter on the Lady Indian volleyball and basketball teams as well as softball.
