Cathy Lewis
Cathy Hughes Lewis, 54, of Soddy Daisy, Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday, February 26, 2020.
She was born and raised in Red Bank and a proud graduate of Red Bank High School Class of 1983. Cathy received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga Class of 1989. Her heart was truly Blue and Gold for the Mocs. She had been employed at Craftique Manufacturing for 37 years, helping customers throughout the country with university spirit items. She attended Calvary Chapel Chattanooga. She was a true and loyal friend to many. Her dedication to her family was immeasurable and she brought happiness to all she knew. Robert and her boys were her greatest joy in life.
Cathy was preceded in death by her stepfather, Billy Joe Russell; Grandparents, Dorothy & JC Turner, James & Dorothy Hughes, and Bettie Neal.
Survivors include husband of 28 years, Robert W. Lewis, Jr.; Sons, Coy Lewis and Cooper Lewis; Parents, Linda T. Russell and George (Yvonne) Hughes; sisters, Debra (Marty) Green, Kim (Todd) Leffew, Denise (Greg) Short, Betsye Neal Bishop; sisters-in-law, Melinda (Charles) Hullender, Terry (Lenny) Masick; nephews, Thomas (Ellys) Green, Tanner Green, Jacob Hullender, Eli Hullender, Laik Leffew; nieces, Mary Alice Frazier, Patricia (Philip) Kaye; great-niece, Rollins Green; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 29, at The Baylor School Alumni Chapel with Reverend Dwight Martin officiating.
Visitation will be held Saturday, February 29, 2020 from 1:00 till 4:00 p.m. prior to the service at The Baylor School Alumni Chapel.
Interment will be private.
