A man, 27, was shot early Friday morning on East 27th Street.
At approximately 12:35 a.m., Chattanooga Police responded to a person shot call in the 2100 block of East 27th Street.
Upon arrival, police located a man with a non-life threatening gunshot wound inside a residence. The victim was taken to a hospital by Hamilton County EMS.
The suspect fled the scene prior to police arrival.
