Lovette Clay
Lovette Lewis Clay, Sr., 58, of Chattanooga, passed away on Monday, May 25, 2020, in a local hospital.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Gloria Clay and sister, Victoria Wyley.
Survivors include his wife of 20 years, Sharon Clay; son, Lovette Clay, Jr.; daughters, Jereisha (Thaddeus) Twitty; six grandchildren, all of Chattanooga; stepmother, Carolyn Clay of Chattanooga; brothers, Charles (Tara) Clay, Jr., Thomas Clay, Christopher (Sabrina) Clay, Ronald Hardy, Derrick Clay, all of Chattanooga, and Robert (Belinda) Clay of Philadelphia, PA; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Lovette will lie in state on Monday, June 1, from 12:30-5 p.m. at Taylor Funeral Home.
Graveside services will be on Tuesday, June 2, at 1 p.m. in Forest Hills Cemetery with Elder Robert Blake as the eulogist.
