Jake Green of Dalton scored his first ever series championship for the Red Clay 602/Sportsman Southern Region this year. After a strong run in 2020, he backed it up in 2021 by taking the points lead early in the season and never letting it go.

Green had one win on the season and despite having some mechanical difficulties along the way, he still managed to constantly run up front. He'll collect a cool $2,000 for his efforts at the awards banquet later this year.

Jake Green Racing is sponsored by CVR Race Cars, RaceTek Race Engines, G&J Wraps, Keizer Aluminum Wheels,  RPI Suspension, FastShafts by Axle Exchange, G&W Carriers, BCI, Textile Rubbers, A&K Metal Fabrication, Service Truck Brokers, Trans Flo Carriers, North Georgia Speedway, Booger Brooks Racing and Joel Gordon Racing.
