Baylor Middle School 7th Grader Tate Hilley Is Tops In The Nation In UTR Competition

Baylor Middle School seventh grader Tate Hilley competed this summer in the Chattanooga UTR Flex League and accumulated enough points to not only finish first in Chattanooga but also first place in the nation.

Baylor officials said, "All of his hard work paid off- he wins a trip for two to the 2022 BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells, Calif., including airfare, two nights hotel, and two tickets for two days during the tournament. 

Thousands of participants from all over the country participated in leagues in their cities, and Tate was the overall winner after all the leagues finished.
