A townhouse project is planned on W. 26th Street across from the long-idle U.S. Pipe property.

Ingram Gore & Associates is the applicant and Mark McGraw of Marco Investments is the property owner.

The site, where the train from Nashville once ran to the Union Station, is just less than a half acre.

The zoning case goes before the Planning Commission next Monday at 1 p.m. at the County Courthouse.
