Carol Carden
Carol Carden, 79, of East Ridge, Tennessee, went home to be with her Lord on Saturday, December 4, 2021.
She was the daughter of the late Lewis Clifford and Leeola Bell Tilley. Carol loved gardening and most of all her family and grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Carden, brothers, Don, Dale, and Wayne Tilley, infant brothers, Billy and Deward, sister, Faye Blanks.
Survivors include her children, Rita Plank of East Ridge, and Kim (Roger Baker) of Dalton; grandchildren: Jason Love of Fort Payne, Al., and Steven (Leah) Duff of Coral Springs, Fl., Zach Baker of Dalton, and Blakely Viva of Ringgold, great- grandchildren: Hunter Love, of Fort Payne, Al., Emily Stoddard of Los Angeles, Erin Stoddard of Chattanooga, Lily Slaven and Arya Duff both of Coral Springs, Fl., Landon Lockhart of Ringgold, and Haleigh and Reace Baker both of Englewood, Tn., brothers, Jim (Sue) Tilley of Henagar, Al., Jerry Tilley of Henagar, Al., and Larry (Barbara) Tilley of Ider, Al., sisters, Pat Betty of Rossville, and Diane ( Danny) Cowart of Henagar, Al., and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, Dec. 10, at 12:30 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Terry Dehart and the Rev. Roger Baker officiating. Interment will follow in the Chattanooga National Cemetery.
Family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 9, at the funeral home.
