Billy Holt Greenwood, 74, of Cleveland, passed away December 6, 2021, at a local hospice facility. He was a proud Vietnam veteran and served in the United States Navy, and enjoyed hunting, fishing and home improvement projects.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Brownie Greenwood, and two siblings.
He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Sherrie Greenwood; sons, Kevin (Danielle) Greenwood, Thomas (Katherine) Greenwood and Cody (Rebekah) Greenwood; and grandchildren, Logan, Kaylyn, Emily, Jayden and Jaythen.
The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 10 at Companion Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held on Monday, Dec. 13 at 12:30 p.m. at Chattanooga National Cemetery, with visitation from 9-11 a.m., prior to the graveside service.
