Pinnacle Financial Partners welcomed longtime Regions Bank commercial real estate banker Frank Peele to the Chattanooga team this spring along with credit advisor Keith Taylor and financial specialist Carla Turner, both of whom joined from First Horizon. Mr. Peele and Mr. Taylor are based at Pinnacle’s Broad Street office, and Ms. Turner is located at the Shallowford Road office.
“Frank has been in commercial and real estate banking in Chattanooga for 33 years, with a niche in equity investments, lending and treasury management for affordable housing,” said regional president Kenny Dyer. “His knowledge and experience are great additions to our team here. Keith and Carla have a combined 30 years of experience, and all three will help us give more of the service and advice clients have come to expect. We are glad they were attracted to our top tier workplace culture and approach to client service.”
Across 33 years at Regions Bank in Chattanooga, in addition to his niche in affordable housing, Mr. Peele served in branch leadership, services for residential construction companies, problem asset management and commercial real estate. Three years ago, he closed Regions’ first Fanne Mae mortgage-backed securities as tax-exempt bond collateral transaction, a structure used to finance the construction, acquisition or rehabilitation of Multifamily Affordable Housing properties. He earned a bachelor’s degree in finance with a minor in economics from UTC.
Mr. Taylor came to Pinnacle from First Horizon Bank in Chattanooga, where he was a senior Small Business Association underwriter. He also has experience in commercial banking and middle market. Mr. Taylor has a bachelor’s degree in finance from University of Alabama in Huntsville. All but one year of his 14-year career have been in Tennessee.
In addition to her tenure at First Horizon in Chattanooga, Ms. Turner served as an operations manager at SunTrust in Chattanooga. She moved to Tennessee in 2008 after working for FSG Bank and Citi Financial in Dalton, where she earned a degree in management from Dalton State College.
