Barry Stroud
Barry Stroud, 73, of Chattanooga, passed away on Wednesday, June 23, 2021, in a local hospital.
He was a veteran of the United States Army.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Peter Stroud, Sr. and Georgia A. Stroud; brothers, Walter Lee Stroud and Peter Stroud, Jr.
Survivors include his son, Marvin Akridge of Atlanta; brothers, Marvin Joe Stroud, Donald Stroud, and Dennis Stroud; sister, Robernetta Thompson of Canton, Ga.; several nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends.
He will lie in state on Thursday, July 1, at 9 a.m. at Taylor Funeral Home.
Graveside services will be on Thursday, July 1, at 11 a.m. in Chattanooga National Cemetery.
