Here are upcoming road closings:
East 23rd and Polk Street
Single lane closures on Polk Street southbound and East 23rd Street westbound will take place Monday, August 2 through Friday, August 6. Please use caution when driving through this area.
4400 Central Avenue
Single lane closures on Central Avenue will take place Monday, August 2 from 8 AM until 4 PM while plumbing work is performed on an overhead walkway. Flaggers will be present to guide traffic around the lane closure.
Bachman Tunnel - Eastbound
Bachman Tunnel eastbound will be closed on the following dates and times for TDOT inspection:
Monday, August 2 at 8:00 PM until Tuesday, August 3 at 5:00 AM.
Detours will be posted. Please plan additional time while traveling.
Bachman Tunnel - Westbound
Bachman Tunnel westbound will be closed on the following dates and times for TDOT inspection:
Tuesday, August 3 at 8:00 PM until Wednesday, August 4 at 5:00 AM.
Detours will be posted. Please plan additional time while traveling.
6497 E Brainerd Road
Single lane closures on E Brainerd Road will take place Tuesday, August 3 at 9 PM until Wednesday, August 4 at 6 AM. Two-way traffic will be maintained with the use of flaggers. Please use caution and watch for workers.
Shallowford Road
Shallowford Road will be reduced to one lane between Jersey Pike and Cromwell Road on Wednesday, August 4 through Friday, August 6 from 8:30 AM until 4:00 PM for pavement renewal. Two-way traffic will be maintained with the use of flaggers. Delays are expected, please use alternative routes if possible. Work is dependant on weather conditions.
