Ortwein Sign Celebrates Sign Manufacturing Day With A Tour Oct. 1

  • Monday, September 13, 2021

Ortwein Sign will celebrate Sign Manufacturing Day with a tour of their Chattanooga facilities on Oct. 1 from 1-3 p.m. Ortwein Sign is inviting students, community members, and those interested in pursuing a career in manufacturing and sign manufacturing to join the free event.

On the tour, the company will highlight many facets of sign production, from design to welding, installation to project management, and many other skills and steps that help produce, service, and install signage for clients.

"We are excited to participate in our first celebration of Sign Manufacturing Day," said Colleen Teal, president of Ortwein Sign. "We know this is a field that’s often overlooked, and we’re hoping to show off what manufacturing can be and what sign manufacturing is like at Ortwein Sign. Hopefully this visit will inspire some people to join this rewarding field as well or even work with us at Ortwein Sign one day.”

To RSVP for the tour, visit the Ortwein Sign Interior website www.OrtweinSignInterior.com and click the “Sign Manufacturing Day” button to secure a free ticket. For more information email  mmiller@ortweinsign.com.

Sign Manufacturing Day is celebrated every first Friday of October. Ortwein’s event will be held in partnership with the National Association of Manufacturers' Manufacturing Day and the International Sign Association.
