Sabrina Novak Is Interim Administrator For Hamilton County Health Department As Becky Barnes Retires

Wednesday was the final County Commission meeting for Becky Barnes after 41 years at the Hamilton County Health Department.

Ms. Barnes, who led the county's response to two waves of the COVID-19 pandemic, recently announced her retirement.

County Mayor Jim Coppinger said Sabrina Novak will be the interim administrator while a permanent leader is sought.

Ms. Novak is currently director of administrative services at the Health Department.
