Nelle W. Whaley
Nelle W. Whaley, 94 a resident of Cleveland, Tennessee, was received into heaven Monday, March 14, 2022.
She was born on May 27, 1927 in Sevierville, Tn., to the late James Oliver and Eda Whaley and was also preceded in death by her husband James G. Whaley who was the love of her life for over 67 years, her brother, Ernest Whaley and her sister, Mary Ash. She spent the last 61 years in Cleveland and was a member of Michigan Ave. Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School for over 50 years.
Left behind to cherish her memory are her brother: Jack Whaley (Shirley); children: Clara Hudson (Marvin), Nancy Hudson all of Cleveland, James W. Whaley (Evie) of Chesapeake Ohio; grandchildren: Kevin Hudson (Andrea), Audra Campbell (Jimmy), Kerri Ahrestha (Nabin), Laura Click (Dale) Travis Hudson (Laura) all of Cleveland, Jackie Frasure (Joe), of Columbus Ohio, Paul Hudson (Lea) of Jacksonville FL.; great grandchildren: Trey Campbell of Albuquerque NM., Ryan Campbell, Everest Shreatha, Kade Shrestha, Elly Hudson, Coy Hudson, Aryn Stewart (Austin) all of Cleveland, Tessa Hudson, Daphne Poole, Marlee Carringer of Jacksonville FL., A.J. Frasure, Brandon Frasure, of Columbus Ohio.
A Remembrance of Life Service will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services North Ocoee St. Chapel with Mike Wallin officiating. The interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens with grandsons serving as casket bearers.
The family will receive friends Friday from 12-2 p.m. at the funeral home.
