Many countries evacuated their citizens from Israel quickly, some within hours of the attack on Oct 7-Hungary on Oct 8; the Swiss, Russians, Argentina, Brazil and the Czech Republic began on Oct 10. Nine others pulled out on Oct 11 (AL-MONITOR 10/11/23).
During those evacuations, Biden’s team were “actively exploring” options for rescuing Americans. On Oct 11, Adm John Kirby, Biden’s National Security whatever, said he couldn’t provide a timeline for evacuation (NewsNation 10/11/23). So on Thursday, Governor Ron DeSantis, R-FL, issued an executive order to evacuate 270 Americans including 91 children (WFLA 10/15/23) flying them to Florida.
Recalling a similar situation, Senator Josh Hawley, R-MO said this was the second time in two years Americans were stranded in a war zone.
I was reminded of the words of CNN’s Chris Cillizza, reporting on Joe Biden’s 2021 message to Vladimir Putin which was, “the adults are back in charge.” After watching a decrepit Joe speaking barely above a whisper to Bibi Netanyahu, I’m left wondering who these so-called adults are?
A few days ago Biden was stumbling up steps in Philly to toot his little Bidenomics horn (DailyMail 10/13/23) while his team of “adults” were exploring options.
So how about this option? Vote Biden and his “adults” out next year?
