Hasel To Present Archaeological Lecture At SAU Nov. 6

Southern Adventist University invites the community to “Destruction in the Gate: New Excavations at Tel Hazor, Israel” presented by Professor Michael G. Hasel, PhD, director of the university’s Institute of Archaeology, on Monday, Nov. 6, at 7 p.m. in Lynn Wood Hall Chapel on campus.

An expert in Near Eastern studies and archaeology, Dr. Hasel is also the curator of Southern’s Lynn H. Wood Archaeological Museum. He has given lectures around the world and excavated at multiple sites in Cyprus, Jordan and Israel, most recently co-directing projects at Khirbet Qeiyafa, Socoh and Lachish in Israel.

The free event is open to the public and will be livestreamed at southern.edu/streaming.
