Chattanooga Area Historical Association To Meet At First Presbyterian Church

  • Wednesday, February 8, 2023

The Chattanooga Area Historical Association has found a new location for its meetings, the First Presbyterian Church, 554 McCallie Ave. Meetings will be held in the Chapel which is easy to access (no steps).

Parking will also be easier and at no cost. The Medical Arts Building and its parking lot are now part of the church. For those who are not familiar with the area, the sanctuary is on the corner of McCallie and Douglas; next to the church is a tall building, The Tower, and there is a small driveway between it and the larger building which is now owed by UTC. For directions call Marti at 595-4468.

The next meeting will be Monday at 6 p.m. Morty Lloyd, who basically grew up at Lovell Field, will discuss the history of aviation in Chattanooga.
