Local Artist Alan Shuptrine Accepts Invitation As Artist In Residence At Palmetto Bluff, S.C.

Nationally renowned artist Alan Shuptrine has been invited by Palmetto Bluff, Bluffton, S.C., to be their Artist in Residence for 2023.

The Arts Initiative invites the artist to display their talent and works, as well as be included in the demonstration and speaker series.

During the month of August, Mr. Shuptrine will be hosting a book signing event for his award-winning art book, I Come From A Place, providing two watercolor workshops, and a gold leaf workshop along with a boat tour of the marshland within the 20,000-acre retreat.

A painter known for his realistic watercolors, oils, gold leaf, and handmade framing, Mr. Shuptrine’s works are in the permanent collections of several American museums and hundreds of corporate and private collections nationwide.
