Local real estate investor Jeffrey Holst's new book, No Bad Days, achieved Amazon best-seller status, furthering Mr. Holst's goal to share how his personal commitment to find the good in any day, no matter how dark it seemed, changed his life. It recounts his near-fatal cancer diagnosis that led to him filing for personal bankruptcy, despite owning a bankruptcy law practice, and his eventual emergence as a successful real-estate investor with a multi-million dollar real estate portfolio in Chattanooga.
"Good things and bad things happen to all of us every day," said Mr. Holst. "It's what you choose to focus on that matters."
Mr. Holst's book reflects his personal story of being forced to shutter his law practice after becoming sick from cancer, as well as the struggle of going in front of the bankruptcy court to declare personal bankruptcy after years of practicing bankruptcy himself before that very court, all while maintaining a relentless positive mindset.
"I gave up having bad days as a teenager, and this mindset is the key to my success," Mr. Holst adds.
After filing for bankruptcy, Mr. Holst moved to Chattanooga where he re-built his career. He now splits his time between Chattanooga and the Caribbean.
No Bad Days was released this week by Morgan James Publishing and is available wherever books are sold. On its first day, it was Amazon's #1 new release in personal finance.
