Seven students from Hamilton County made the Dean’s List for the spring 2023 semester at Maryville College in Maryville.
The students making the list are: Edna Butterfield, Joshua Cornell, Emberson Federico, Pedro Pedro Antonio, Lily Petree and Chapel Shortt of Chattanooga; and Zoe Zeller of Hixson.
Consideration for the Dean’s List is open to full-time students who have a grade point average of at least 3.6 in all work undertaken, no grade below a “C” and no incompletes for the semester.
In addition, Maryville College held its annual Commencement ceremony on Saturday, May 6, and two students from Hamilton County were awarded degrees: Eli Pajares of Harrison received a bachelor of science in biochemistry; and Idali Reynoso of Chattanooga received a bachelor of arts in management.
