Cleveland State Tied For Eighth At National Golf Tournament

With competition beginning on Monday May 23, round one is in the books at the Division Two
National Golf tournament as Cleveland State is tied for eighth with Walters State in the field of 22.

The Cougars finished the first round with a team score of 293, five shots over par. They are four places behind conference rival Roane State who currently is in fourth place.

For the Cougars, Owen Krueger is at a +1 while Dalton Sutton, Nic Ravnborg and Reese McFatter are +2 each with Cain Stover at a +3.

Played on the Black Course at the Swan Lake Resort in Plymouth Indiana, the course is set at 6876 yards with a par of 72. The 2023 Nationals conclude on May 26.
