The Chattanooga Lookouts gave up three runs after the seventh inning in their 7-5 loss to the Montgomery Biscuits.
Montgomery struck first with a run in the first and one in the third. In the fourth, Francisco Urbaez got things going for the Lookouts with a leadoff single. After an out, Daniel Vellojin walked and Jacob Hurutbise singled to put load the bases for Blake Dunn who rifled a single up the middle to plate two runs. The Lookouts proceeded to take the lead on a Rece Hinds sacrifice fly.
In the sixth Montgomery regained the lead on an Evan Edwards two-run single.
The lead was short-lived however as a Rece Hinds two-run double gave Chattanooga a 5-4 lead in the sixth.
After a quiet seventh inning, the away team seized the lead for good, scoring on an RBI triple and a sac fly. They added one more run in the ninth to make it 7-5.
In the loss, Dunn tallied three hits to bring his average to .381 on the year. In the month of July, Dunn is hitting .446 and has a Duuble-A leading 37 hits. He also leads the level in runs (25) and steals (17).
Tomorrow the team will take an off day before heading up to Tennessee. Chattanooga returns home on Tuesday, August 8.
