After years of “Trump is guilty of everything,” it was no surprise when an eager Georgia DA, on Rachel Maddow (Feb 2022) may have gone beyond general discussions in talking about specifics of evidence regarding an indictment of Donald Trump. Attempting to try a case in the media is a mistake (Law & Crime, E Nanos 2/12/21) but then consider who their target is.
Around noon on Aug. 14, 2023, charges against Trump appeared on the Fulton County Court website then they were pulled. This was hours before the eager Georgia DA announced an indictment was returned. Then it went from being “inaccurate” to “fictitious” to the court clerk admitting she “messed up.” Only the usual lefties could support this line.
As expected Democrats celebrate. “Trump is guilty” (Foreign Policy) “Trump is guilty of a crime” (Democrat advisor, Lanny Davis) “Trump betrayed our national security” (D-Adam Schiff) “Trump appears to be closer than ever to a situation to where he spends numerous years in prison” (Vanity Fair) “Is this the end of Donald Trump” (Brookings) and “The end of Donald Trump” (New Yorker).
Actually these are examples indicating this was in the works for years. Foreign Policy (2017), Lanny Davis (2018), Adam Schiff (2020), Vanity Fair (2021),Brookings (2022) and The New Yorker
(2022). Prosecuting Trump after he left office appeared in Politico in 2019 (Mariotti) and Senator Kamala Harris was boasting of how she would like to prosecute him (NYTimes 6/27/19).
A U.S. attorney took four years to reach the point of a plea deal in the Hunter Biden fiasco in comparison to this eager Georgia DA wanting to start a trial of Trump the day before Super Tuesday. So, real election interference or just another coincidence?
