The School of Visual Art and Design at Southern Adventist University announce an art exhibition for Taylor Waterman, senior fine art major. Opening on Thursday, Nov. 21 at 6 p.m. in Brock Hall’s John C. Williams Art Gallery, the showcase of paintings will be open through Dec. 13.

Titled “What Makes Me Tick,” Ms. Waterman’s collection focuses on her own journey with Lyme disease. Known as the “great imitator,” the bacterial infection can morph and take on many different forms while hiding under the skin of a seemingly healthy patient.
Ms. Waterman’s art depicts what is happening within the body and mind in the struggle to fight this disease.
