Internationally known guitarist, comedian and speaker Kevin Williams headlines the February Red Back Hymnal Singing at the Ridgedale Baptist Church, 1831 Hickory Valley Road, this Sunday.

Mr. Williams has been with the Gaither’s for over 30 years. He is the co-host of Bill Gaither’s Homecoming radio program heard locally daily over WDYN, AM 980, FM 94.7 and WDYN.com. The program airs on over 3,500 radio stations. In addition to being one of the top guitarists in the country, he’s known for his quick wit.

Mr. Williams’s guitar playing can be found on countless recording sessions, as well as an in-demand performer and speaker.

Organizers Bill and Linda Hullander said doors will open at 5:15 p.m., and although the event is free, a love offering will be taken.

Mr. Hullander said, “Last month, the Red Back Hymnal Singing attracted over 500 guests with the Southern Gospel Group, The Browns. We expect another large turnout for this great southern gospel artist. ”

This month will also feature Classic Harmony, a traditional Southern Gospel Quartet, singing songs right out of the Red Back Hymnal.

Mr. Hullander said the monthly events will move back to his farm in Apison the third Sunday in March.
