K9 Helps Discover Narcotics In Vehicle Traffic Stop - And Other Collegedale Police Calls

K9 Krino assisted his human partners locate narcotics in a vehicle during a traffic stop in the 5900 block of Reagan Lane. The driver was charged with driving on a revoked license, being in possession of schedule VI and II narcotics, as well as unlawful drug paraphernalia. 

Police and the fire department responded to the 5900 block of Elementary Way for a commercial fire alarm. The alarm was determined to be accidental due to construction.

Police removed several large items from the roadway way which were obstructing the flow of traffic in the 5700 block of Main Street. 

An individual came to the police department to report that an over the phone scammer had convinced them to give up their debit card number.  Afterwards it was discovered that they were missing $1700 from their account.

Police responded to a noise complaint in the Robinson Farm neighborhood after a resident complained that a neighbor had been revving their engine and playing loud music.

Chief Sapp responded to the 4700 block of Wellesley Drive after a caller reported that a vehicle had been parked there for two months. The vehicle was parked in the wrong direction with a flat tire. Contact was attempted with the owner but with no success. A 72-hour abandoned tow notice was placed on the vehicle. 

Collegedale police assisted sheriff’s deputies who were making a traffic stop in the 9000 block of Lee Highway of a vehicle suspected of being involved in an alleged kidnapping. No kidnapping victim was found. 

A Collegedale fugitive was transported from the Bradley County Jail to the Collegedale Police Department where they were booked and released on bond. 

A traffic stop on the 10100 block of Lee Highway resulted in the driver being charged with driving on a revoked license. 

A vandalism report was taken after it was reported that three lights had been busted underneath the bridge in the 9300 block of Apison Pike, near the Imagination Station playground. 

A resident in the 5000 block of Chestnutt Creek Road reported a suspicious vehicle they had never seen before at a neighbor’s home. Everything checked out ok. 

Officers responded to a verbal disorder between two juveniles at the Little Debbie Park. 

A traffic stop in the 5000 block of Ooltewah Ringgold Road led to the driver being charged with driving on a suspended license and a passenger charged with possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia. 

Officers responded to a domestic disorder in the 5300 block of High Street.
