Rose Ailey
Rose Ailey of East Ridge, Tennessee, and a native of Grantsville, Maryland, passed away peacefully Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at her home.
She was a member of Brainerd Methodist Church. Rose had a passion for rescuing animals, loved her flowers and plants, birds, books, her friends and travel. She had worked in retail sales with Belk Department Store for over 20 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Rosa Lewis Miller; a sister, Nancy Miller and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Survivors include two daughters, Tonya (Ethan) Carver and Maria Ailey; two perfect grandchildren, Audra and Eron and her beloved rescue dog, Bailey.
Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. on Sunday, March 17, at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, 404 South Moore Road with the Rev. Tim Bracken officiating. The family will receive friends from 1–4 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.
