7 Juveniles Arrested After Burglaries And Pursuit - And Other Collegedale Police Calls

A string of burglaries occurred in the Chattanooga area, and the suspect vehicle was located in Collegedale on Sunny Lane. One suspect fled on foot and the other six took off in a vehicle and nearly hit a Collegedale officer head-on. A vehicle pursuit was then initiated and spikes were successfully deployed by HCSO shortly after. A foot pursuit followed, and all seven individuals who were juveniles, were taken into custody.

An unknown 911 came in from the 5100 block of Ooltewah Ringgold Road.
Officers checked the area and found no signs of an emergency.

Officers made contact with a vehicle emitting heavy white smoke inside the Walmart parking lot. Everything was ok and the driver safely drove away.

A Collegedale fugitive was located at the Hamilton County Jail. The individual was booked on a bond revocation warrant for driving charges.

A driver in the 9200 block of Lee Highway was arrested for driving on a revoked license.

Officers responded to 5910 Reagan Lane on a report of a theft. The shoplifter exited the store and was met by law enforcement who returned the merchandise to the store owner, who decided not to press charges. The individual then drove away as officers discovered a suspended status of their license. The individual was stopped and arrested for driving on a suspended license.

Property damage was reported in the 10000 block of Sunny Lane.

A traffic stop on a vehicle going 18 miles per hour was conducted in the 5200 block of Little Debbie Parkway. A brief investigation resulted in the driver being arrested for DUI and driving without a license.

A Collegedale fugitive was located at the Hamilton County Jail. The individual was booked on a warrant for possession of a Schedule II drug.

An individual in the 5500 block of Little Debbie Parkway was misdemeanor cited for driving on a suspended license.

A two-vehicle crash was reported in the 4800 block of Ooltewah Ringgold Road.

Officers responded to the 5700 block of Sunburst Court on a report of a residence with the front door wide open. Officers cleared and secured the residence.

Officers located a suspicious vehicle parked in the 5900 block of Elementary Way. The vehicle was occupied by individuals “talking,” They were advised to “talk” elsewhere.

Officers settled a disorder between family members that occurred in the parking lot of the police station.

A theft was reported at Walmart.

A two-vehicle crash was reported in the 5500 block of Little Debbie Parkway.

Officers responded to a fire in the 4400 block of Suhrie Drive. Officers arrived and discovered a small controlled campfire.

Officers responded to an alarm in the 5300 block of Asher Village Drive. Everything checked ok.

Officers were dispatched to a burglar alarm in the 4800 block of College Drive East. Everything checked ok.

An unknown 911 call came in from the 9600 block of Chaucer Trail. Officers checked the area and discovered that it was an accidental dial.

An individual at Walmart was caught making a fraudulent return. The individual was issued a misdemeanor citation.

A Collegedale fugitive was located at the Hamilton County Jail. The individual was booked on a failure to appear warrant.
