Toastmasters Wordspinners District Event Is In Chattanooga Thursday

Let's Connect with Even More Toastmasters & Wordspinners is the District 63 Spring Conference opening event in Chattanooga. Toastmasters Wordspinners club welcomes immediate past International President, Matt Kinsey of Coral Springs, Fl., as the event keynote speaker. Mr. Kinsey served for the 2022-2023 term.

Toastmasters Wordspinners Club is this event’s host in-person and open to the public by reservation only event through Eventbrite on Thursday from 5:30-7 p.m. It will be held at Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices J Douglas Properties. 

A Toastmaster since 2003, Mr. Kinsey is a charter member of his home club, Outspoken Toastmasters, in Coral Springs. He has held a number of high-profile leadership positions within Toastmasters and has attained the Distinguished Toastmaster designation—the highest level of educational achievement in the organization. 

Mr. Kinsey’s professional experience is the chief information security officer and managing director of IT Fusion, LLC in Southeastern Florida. He oversees all aspects of his IT and cybersecurity consulting firm that services small and medium-sized businesses in the South Florida area. Mr. Kinsey also holds a master’s degree in computer information systems from the University of Phoenix, Arizona and a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from Trinity International University. He is a long time Boy Scout volunteer for nearly 30 years.

Wordspinners event host and current Wordspinners Club President Ginger King said, “Toastmasters and especially our local club, Wordspinners, is key to my professional development in leadership and been a safe space to practice my public speaking. It’s been inspirational for me and other members of our local club to learn by doing with serving in various leadership roles.
