  • Wednesday, April 3, 2024

Scenic City Wellness, in collaboration with the city of Chattanooga’s Office of Community Health, unveils its groundbreaking initiative: "Bridging The Gap." This program aims to provide free healthcare services to Chattanooga’s uninsured, underinsured and those seeking quality healthcare without financial constraints.

Located on Lee Parkway, Scenic City Wellness will offer complimentary primary care and mental health services to a select number of participants. With aspirations to broaden its impact, the initiative seeks to expand its reach to meet the overwhelming healthcare needs of Chattanooga's diverse communities.

Founder of Scenic City Wellness, Michalle Morris, MSN, said that "Bridging The Gap" is more than just a program; it's a commitment to delivering comprehensive healthcare and mental wellness services to underserved populations. "We recognize the barriers hindering access to healthcare, and we are dedicated to overcoming them," Ms. Morris said.

This community-centric initiative is forged through partnerships with local organizations and stakeholders, ensuring services are tailored to address the unique needs of Chattanooga residents. Beyond routine check-ups and chronic illness management, "Bridging The Gap" will also provide transportation assistance for community members in need.

“Together, we can create a healthier, happier Chattanooga,” said Ms. Morris. “Everyone deserves quality healthcare and mental wellness.”
