New G.R.I.T. Training Series For Veterans Starting Aug. 7

Project Gallantly Forward announces the launch of its G.R.I.T. (Growth, Resilience, Integrity, and Tenacity) training series, designed to support veterans at any stage of their civilian life journey. This comprehensive program will begin on August 7, 2024, and will run for four monthly sessions on the first Wednesday of each month.

G.R.I.T. Training: Empowering Veterans for Life

Whether a veteran has been out of the service for months or decades, the challenges of transitioning to civilian life remain significant.

The G.R.I.T. training series aims to provide veterans with the tools and support they need to build resilience and navigate life beyond the military. This initiative recognizes that the need for resilience and grit is crucial, regardless of how long a veteran has been out of service.

Co-Facilitators:

  • Cindi Sanden: Certified Resiliency Trainer and Executive Director of Keep Soddy Daisy Beautiful

  • Dr. Mark Miller: Psychologist, US Army Veteran, and PGF Board Member

Training Focuses on:

  • Building Resilience: Learn techniques to enhance your emotional and mental resilience.

  • Community Support: Engage with other veterans in a supportive and understanding environment.

  • Practical Tools: Gain practical tools and strategies to manage stress and improve overall well-being.

Session Details:

  • Dates: August 7, September 4, October 2, and November 6

  • Time: 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM

  • Location: Project Gallantly Forward Office, 9632 Dayton Pike #102, Soddy Daisy, Tn. 37379

  • Cost: Free of charge

Light snacks and beverages will be provided during each session.
