Our Senator Bo Watson no longer represents the hearts of his constituents.
Jesus told his disciples to “let the little children come, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”
We are called to follow Him. Although I fail miserably, I try everyday.
Senator Bo has lost his way. He is taking the wide and smooth path, only for his own re-election, because he has lost faith in the heart of his constituency. The heart that loves the little children.
His attempt to deny education to undocumented children, who had no choice where to be born, denies them the opportunity to embrace the American dream.
It would seem to me that providing an education to undocumented children would mean more opportunities, a greater standard of living, increasing the amount spending power, bettering our communities as a whole.
Senator Bo Watson would have us believe that this is a “fiscal” issue. For those of us who pay attention, Senator Bo Watson recently voted for “school vouchers”, a law that re-directed our taxpayer dollars from public schools, into the private schools’ bank accounts.
If he was sincere in this being a “fiscal” issue, he would oppose any measure decreasing public school funding, especially the “school voucher” bill.
Never mind Senator Bo’s bill is unconstitutional. Instead of cracking law books he’s been “cracking backs”, so I give him a pass.
Never mind that these families with undocumented children pay property taxes and sales taxes that offset the “public school tuition” he deems that they should pay.
Never mind that Senator Bo cannot attend his church on Sunday because they continue to teach about Jesus.
Be straight with us, Bo. You’re worried your constituents will not reelect you unless you toss undocumented children under the school bus.
Maybe they do it because you did.

Mr. C. Mark Warren,
I have known you for more than 25 years. You understand about money. You are an ambulance chaser. But your ethics are not your top selling point.
So, please don't test the Jesus vote. I know better. You won't have my vote.

Well, Mr. C. Mark Warren, you finally stated something that I can agree with you on. Much to my surprise though, since we are both from opposite ends of political ideology.
I too am in favor of allowing undocumented (illegal) children to attend public schools.
As you stated it is not the child’s fault that they are illegally here in this country and most of them probably had no control over their destiny.
That fault lies with the Democrats and the Joe Biden/Mayorkis open borders administration that has allowed by reports at least 11 million or so undocumented immigrants into America. Thankfully, some of the most heinous of these illegals are being deported if the Trump administration can overcome the radical Democrats and the unconstitutional lawfare of some of the district federal judges.
I would rather have these undocumented kids learn (English too) and be educated while they are illegally in our country rather than have them grow up to be illiterate adults in our society. Educate them while they are here before they and/or their parents are potentially awaiting deportation.
I do believe that this is a fiscal issue in differing with you. Many illegals working in our country are sending a lot of their money back to their respective countries rather than utilizing it here for our economy. Thus one part of the fiscal discussion.
I am 100 percent in favor of school vouchers that you are adamantly opposed to. It’s the taxpayers money so allow each family to decide which school they choose for their children and if they choose the public schools or vouchers so be it.
From the results of the (DOE) public education system’s own numbers this nation is failing badly with rank of 40 or there about.
I personally don’t know Bo Watson and I sure don’t know about Bo Watson's church attendance as you seem to do however the Bible says “Judge not lest you be judged.”
I’m not concerning myself with his religion or what you or I suspect his heart holds or what each of his constituents' hearts believe. I’m not taking up for him just stating that each of us will answer before our maker and not man.
There’s a lot of issues facing our state and this nation and as you previously quoted, Jesus said, “Let the little children come, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”
You as a candidate and a strong Democrat, what would Jesus say about abortion of children and Planned Parenthood (selling body parts and organ harvesting) which is a highly divisive issue between all people Democrats and Republicans?
Lots of hot button issues to consider as candidate C. Mark Warren.
