New South Trading Co. Launches Apparel, Gift Collection For First National Park City

  • Friday, April 25, 2025

In celebration of Chattanooga being officially named the first National Park City in North America, local husband-and-wife team co-founders of New South Trading Co. are releasing a series of locally designed T-shirts that capture the natural beauty and spirit of the city.

The new collection features four original designs showcasing iconic Chattanooga views—Snoopers Rock, the Tennessee River Gorge, and the beloved Walnut Street Bridge—each illustrated with vibrant colors and outdoor-inspired detail that reflects the natural wonder and community pride of the Scenic City.

“We created these designs as a way to honor this incredible moment for our city,” said Ben Simpson, co-founder of New South Trading Co. “Being named a National Park City is a reflection of the way Chattanooga embodies the outdoor experience and the preservation of nature. We are blessed to call this place home.”

Printed in the USA and designed in Chattanooga, these small-batch pieces are more than just apparel—they’re wearable art celebrating the places that make this community special. They are currently working with a local organization to create a "give back" program to donate a portion of proceeds which will go toward stewardship and conservation efforts, further reinforcing New South Trading Co.'s commitment to supporting the city they love.

The full collection will debut at the Chattanooga Market this weekend and will also be available online at New South Trading Company's website.
