Day Shift April 10: A Squad
25-003760- I75 NB- Traffic stop/ Arrest
Officers observed a red Lexus travelling recklessly on I-75 NB. A man was found to be driving the vehicle and stated he was driving recklessly because his tire was going flat. It was found he was driving on a license revoked DUI and had a warrant for DUI out of East Ridge.
25-003751 – 1300 BLK Frederick Drive – Disorder Prevention
Police escorted a party to his former residence where police stood by while the resident collected some personal belongings and dropped them outside for the caller to collect.
25-003763 – 1900 BLK Bowen Road – Suspicious Vehicle
Police were dispatched to the area on a report a white SUV with Kansas plates was circling the area.
Police contacted the vehicle in the 3400 block of Missionaire Avenue. The driver, a young dad, wise beyond his years, stated his daughter was at ballet and he was driving around to soothe his youngest child who was fast asleep.
25-003765 – 3400 BLK Gail Drive – Mentally Disturbed
Police spoke with a party at his home after he reported that he saw people roaming around inside the residence. Police were not able to locate any people. The caller denied wanting to be seen by EMS as well as transported for an evaluation. An APS report was completed.
25-003764 – 800 BLK S Germantown Road – Vehicle Theft
Police responded to the office building on a reported vehicle theft. Police spoke with the executor of the estate. She stated two family members stole the vehicle from this location.
25-003756- 1500 BLK Maxwell Rd.- Deceptive Practice
Police responded to the PD to take a report of a deceptive practice. Officers spoke with the victim who stated a check she sent had been intercepted and washed. The suspect then took the check, entered a different name, and cashed it for $7,000. Warrants pending identification of the suspect.
25-003771- 4100 BLK Ringgold Rd.- Civil Matter
Police called a man regarding him purchasing a boom lift from someone off Facebook Marketplace. The man informed police that he lives in Kentucky, but repossession agents showed up to his home. The agents informed the man that the boom lift was rented from a Home Depot in Cobb County, and they needed it back. The man informed police that Atlanta police had an active investigation.
25-003775- 3500 BLK Missionaire Ave.- Theft
Police were made aware of a Facebook post showing a male stealing a Husqvarna backpack blower from this residence. Officers were able to identify the individual responsible for the theft and warrants are being sought for his arrest.

25-003770- 4334 Ringgold Road- AOA
Aa white Infinity that struck several objects in Catoosa County was found travelling east bound on Ringgold Road with the front bumper of the vehicle gone and the back passenger tire flat on its rim. Officers conducted a traffic stop of the vehicle and found the driver was experiencing a medical emergency. He was transported by EMS to a local hospital.
25-003762 – 4300 BLK Ringgold Road – Deceptive Practice
Regions Bank asked police to contact a party after he tried to withdraw $25,000.00 in cash from his account but was denied access. Officers called the party who advised his spouse is a joint owner on the account and did indeed try to withdraw the funds for unknown reasons.
25-003768 – 1500 BLK Fruitland Drive – Miscellaneous Complaint
A resident requested a police report after her prescription medication went missing. She advised she had left her back door unlocked for a few hours and feared someone entered her home. Officers found no signs of forced entry and were unable to rule out the possibility that she simply misplaced the medicine.
25-003772 – 5300 BLK Ringgold Road – Theft
A caller reported his Bank of America check was stolen from the East Ridge Post Office, altered, and deposited into an unknown account. Pending identification of the suspect(s), a warrant for Theft of Property will be sought.
25-003776 – 6800 BLK E Brainerd Road – Warrant Service
A subject was arrested and transported to the Hamilton County Jail for an Alias Capias warrant out of East Ridge.
25-003769 – 10 BLK Edwards Terrace – Disorder Prevention
Police stood by while a party took temporary custody of her granddaughter.
Night Shift April 10: C Squad
25-003788 – 500 BLK Camp Jordan Parkway – Disorder / Criminal Trespass
Police responded to a disorder at the restaurant. The manager reported a suspicious male re-entered the business after he was asked to leave several times. Police located the suspicious person and identified him. Officers informed him that he was criminally trespassed from the property, and he left without further incident.
25-003789 – I-24 Westbound – Assist Other Agency
East Ridge Police were dispatched to a broken-down automobile on Westbound I-24. ERPD units eventually located the vehicle in Chattanooga and found that it had run out of gas. Police identified the driver who showed clear signs of intoxication. A THP Trooper responded to the location. Following a roadside investigation, THP arrested the man for Driving Under the Influence, and he was transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
25-003793 – 601 Justice Way – Warrant Service
While in custody at the Hamilton County Jail, a man was served with a Probation Capias warrant from the City of East Ridge. The original charge for capias was Possession of a Controlled Substance.
25-003797 – 6700 Ringgold Road – Stolen Vehicle Recovery
Police observed a suspicious temporary tag on a BMW E35i parked outside the Quality Inn. Officers determined the registration tag was fake and the vehicle was stolen out of Charlotte, NC. The hotel staff did not have information on the vehicle or the hotel guests responsible. The vehicle was towed from the scene and placed in the ERPD Impound Lot. A search warrant was secured for the vehicle, and the vehicle contents were placed into the ERPD Property Room as evidence. Arrest warrants will be issued pending positive identification of the driver.
