25-002609 – 1600 BLK Sunray Drive – Disorder
Police responded to this address after a mother found a male unknown to her in her daughter’s bedroom. Prior to police arrival the male, age unknown, exited the area with haste. Police canvassed the area but were unable to locate anyone matching his description.
25-003423 – 4100 BLK Ringgold Road– Civil Matter
A party requested a police report after her child’s father tried to pick their kid up from school early.
She advised there is not a custody agreement in place, and she put him on the school’s list as an authorized party to pick the child up. Officers informed her there would have to be court ordered custodial documents for enforcement.
25-003424 – 5500 BLK Ringgold Road – Theft
The manager of the business reported his company did business with two other companies and believed the companies scammed him of $9,200.00. Warrants for Theft by Fraud will be sought pending identification of the suspect(s) and proof of the crime.
25-003427 – 1200 BLK Harvard Street – Armed Non-Threatening
Officers received report of a male entering the woods with a rifle. The reporting party also claimed children ran out of the woods screaming once the male entered. Police located a male matching the suspect’s description and identified him. Fortson advised he was fishing, and officers did not locate
a rifle.
25-003426 – 1100 BLK McBrien Road – Identity Theft
Police spoke to a party at the ERPD Lobby regarding a theft of identity. She told police a social worker notified her that her renewal process was flagged because she was over employed when a background check discovered she was employed at a chicken processing plant in Alabama as well as her full-time job in Tennessee. She had begun the process of filing for identity theft with the IRS and SSA.
No Complaint Number – S Germantown Road & Ida Belle Lane – Check Hazard
A good citizen raised concerns about drivers passing the school bus while its lights and stop signs were activated. The party stated the bus is typically in the area around 2:45 p.m. and requested a patrol unit visit the unloading zone.
25-003421 – 6000 BLK Ringgold Road - Warrant Service
An anonymous tip led police to the hotel, where a suspect with extraditable warrants out of Catoosa County was located. The subject was placed into custody and transported to Hamilton County without further incident.
Night Shift April 1: C Squad
25-003430 – 601 Justice Way – Warrant Service
While in custody at the Hamilton County Jail, a woman was served with a Failure to Appear arrest warrant through the City of East Ridge. The original charge for the court case was Driving Under the Influence.
25-003431 – 1517 Tombras Avenue – Warrant Service
A woman was arrested at the East Ridge City Court on a Forfeiture Capias. The original charge on the capias warrant was Driving on a Revoked License. Krause was transported to the Hamilton County Jail without incident.
25-003432 – 700 BLK Frawley Road – Disorder / Psychiatric Emergency
Police responded a to Disorder involving three adults at this residence. Police found that one of the individuals was experiencing a psychiatric emergency which escalated to him pushing and threatening the other adults. A Crisis Co-Responder Units (CCRU) responded to the location
and worked with an ERPD Officers to develop a resolution. The male was then transported to a local medical facility for treatment.
25-003433 – 600 BLK Camp Jordan Parkway – Found Property
Police responded to the report of backpack sitting near a restaurant parking lot. An officer located the backpack and found it was filled with miscellaneous items. The backpack was placed in the ERPD Property and Evidence Room for safekeeping.
25-003438 – 5400 BLK Ringgold Road – Traffic Stop/ Assist Other Agency Arrest
During a routine traffic stop, a man was taken into custody for a Felony Probation warrant through Catoosa County. He was transported to the Hamilton County Jail without incident.
25-003445 – 3500 BLK Pinellas Lane – Stolen Tag Recovery
Police received a hit for stolen vehicle tag through a License Plate Reader (LPR) on S Germantown Road. The hit showed the plate displayed on a brown Buick Enclave. The ERPD K9 Officer checked the area and located the vehicle on Pinellas Lane. The K9 Officer met with the owner of the vehicle who stated the tag was given to her by her employer. The tag was seized, removed from NCIC, and placed in the ERPD Property Room. The information for the criminal case will be forwarded to the Chattanooga Police Department for further investigation.
25-003447 – 6700 BLK Ringgold Road – Warrant service / Assist Other Agency Arrest
Police observed a suspicious vehicle outside the gas station and found a man and woman occupying it. Police determined that one had a Forfeiture Capias warrant through the City of East Ridge, with an original charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance. Police also found that the other had a Probation Violation warrant through Catoosa County. Both were arrested and transported to Hamilton County Jail.
25-003448 – 1600 BLK Waterhouse Street – Alarm
Police responded to a motion alarm in a church treasurer's office. Officers checked the building and found it was secure with no signs of forced entry.
