Betty Joyce Roebuck Wilser
On Easter Sunday morning, Betty Joyce Roebuck Wilser went to heaven to be with her risen Savior, Jesus. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, and proud grandmother who will be missed dearly by family, friends and her precious cats.
As the Apostle Paul said in 2 Corinthians 5:8 - “In fact, we are confident, and we would prefer to be away from the body and at home with the Lord”.
Betty was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. and raised in Queens, N.Y. She was attending Calvary Baptist Church in Manhattan, N.Y. when she met her future husband of 62 years, Rev. Dr. Joseph Wilser. Preceding Betty in death are her parents, Alfred & Ethel Roebuck; her brother, Al Roebuck; her sister, Joan (Raymond) Bell and nephews, Bruce Bell and Paul Bell; and several in-laws.
