Terry Lamar Burton, 62, of Soddy Daisy, Tn. passed away on Monday, June 23, 2025, in a local health care facility surrounded by his family.

He was a former National Guardsman, a former residential and commercial painter and had previously worked in a commercial warehouse. He was of the Baptist faith.

His passions in life were all kinds of sports, fishing, cars and trucks and yard work especially his flowers.

Terry was preceded in death by his father, Darwin Burton.

Survivors include his son, Daniel Burton, mother, Lynn Burton, brother, Jeff (Sandra) Burton, sisters, Tammy McNabb and Dana Burton, grandchildren, Riley Burton and Braxton Burton and several nieces, nephews and extended family.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 27, at 12 p.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Rick Smith officiating. Burial will follow in McInturff Cemetery, Birchwood.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 26, from 4-8 p.m. in the funeral home.
