Chickamauga and Chattanooga National Military Park will present a special one-hour ranger-led hike on Saturday, May 11 at 10 a.m. that will explore the action along Forrest Road and will discuss the role of Huwald, Huggins and Morton’s Confederate Batteries on Sept. 20, 1863. It's a shame we have so many gun battles in certain parts of the city. An outside could come in, look at a map with the number of gun incidents and quickly formulate that most of inside Chattanooga city limits, there is a problem. There should always be a police presence in that area due to the close proximity of UTC housing...either on foot, bicycle or stationary cars. If Set Champion feels he needs to move his awesome business away from there, I for one, would most gladly welcome him ... more
