Samuel J. "Sam" Tramonte, 90, of Ooltewah, died Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2004.

A native of Lutcher, La., and a resident of Ooltewah, he was retired from Vignes Bombet Co.

He was a member of St. Stephen Catholic Church in Chattanooga and St. George Catholic Church in Baton Rouge, La.

He is survived by two daughters, Lonnie L. Heath of Ooltewah and Bonnie D. Eastman of Metairie, La.; a brother, August Tramonte of Peoria, Ariz.; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Visitation is from 10 a.m. until religious services at 2 p.m. Saturday at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., Baton Rouge.

Interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory.

The Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, is in charge of local arrangements.
