SunTrust Bank has opened a new full-service branch at 1900 Gunbarrel Road. SunTrust will celebrate the grand opening of the branch with various activities the week of May 10-14.
A ribbon cutting will kick off the grand opening festivities on May 10 at 2:30 p.m. Daily drawings for $100 Circuit City Gift Cards will take place from May 10-21.
As part of the celebration, customers can receive up to $225 when opening new business accounts or $100 for new personal accounts.
“Opening a branch in this fast-growing area of Hamilton County continues our strategy of expanding our presence to meet the needs of our clients,” said Sue Culpepper, executive vice president. “Today our clients want more ways—including telephone and on-line banking—as well as more convenient branch locations in which to do their banking.”
SunTrust offers its clients 27 branch locations in Chattanooga including five in-store locations at Winn Dixie.
The new branch employs nine associates and features a four-lane drive-in facility, one of which is designed specifically for larger commercial transactions.
“In addition to traditional banking products, we’ll focus on services such as home equity loans and some of the convenient, high-tech options for banking that may be of special interest to area residents,” says branch manager Terri Jewell. “We will also have on-site an investment consultant and mortgage officer, enabling us to offer a full array of financial services to the community.”
Branch hours are Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m., Friday, 9 a.m. - 6 p.m., with drive-thru hours Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. - 4 p.m. and Friday from 8:30 a.m. - 6 p.m.
