Hanzelik Wedding In Las Vegas To Be Shown Via Internet

  • Wednesday, June 14, 2006

If you can't make it to the wedding of Chattanooga attorney Fred Hanzelik and Misty Edwards on Friday in Las Vegas, then you can catch it live on the Internet.

Attorney Hanzelik said, "Misty and I will be getting married at the Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas on Friday at 3:30 p.m. Vegas time. That is 6:30 p.m. Chattanooga or Eastern time.

"If you wish to see the wedding live, via webcasting, you can do it. Below is the Internet address to see it. You must have Windows Media Player to view it. If you go to the web site below, you can download it free if you don't have it. If you go to the web site, immediately beneath the picture, you select which wedding you wish to view.

"I am told that the screen will be black until the ceremony actually begins. It is scheduled as stated above, but it could be 5-10 minutes late too. So don't give up."

Mr. Hanzelik said a reception is still planned here in August at The Farm golf club. A DVD of the wedding will be played for the guests at that time. But he told his friends, "I hope you will join us this coming Friday at the wedding via simulcast."

Attorney Hanzelik said he has known the 36-year-old Ms. Edwards, from Cleveland, Tn., for 13 years, but they have been dating a little over three 1/2 years.

He said she is a stay at home mom who previously was an account executive for Brewer Broadcasting and also was the assistant manager at Cache at Hamilton Place.

She is the daughter of Max and Linda Edwards, who reside in Cleveland.

The Hanzeliks are going to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, for their honeymoon.

Three of the children of attorney Hanzelik will be in Las Vegas - Sean (the writer), Ryan (the lawyer) and daughter, April, who lives in Pasadena, Ca., and works for NASA in the Jet Propulsion Lab.

Attorney Hanzelik said of the webcast, "We are doing it so Misty's parents, and interested friends, will feel a part of the experience."
