Flora Belle Bettis, 83, of Birchwood, died on May 23, 2008 in a Decatur health care facility.
Mrs. Bettis was the daughter of the late Hedda Harden Roberts and John Roberts. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Perry Bettis.
Mrs. Bettis was of the Church of God faith.
Survivors include her children, Nola Roberts of Ala., Barbara Talton, Jimmy Bettis and Roy Bettis all of Birchwood; sisters, Rosie Harden of Birchwood, Hazel Holder of Decatur, Tn., Betty Belcher and Ruby Norman both of Georgetown; eight grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
The Remembrance of Life Service will be Sunday, at 2:30 p.m. from the North Ocoee Chapel of Jim Rush Funeral Homes with the Reverend Landon Harden officiating. Interment will follow in the Dolly Pond Cemetery with grandsons serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 5:30-9 p.m. Saturday, at Jim Rush Funeral Homes, North Ocoee Chapel who has charge of arrangements.
