The Red Bank Thrift Store will celebrate its opening at 1943 Dayton Blvd. with a ribbon cutting Dec. 4 at 10 a.m. The Chattanooga Area Chamber of Commerce will assist with arrangements for the event.
The nonprofit, retail shop will be operated by Daniel and Krishna Shoats. The couple say part of the store’s mission is to make donations to Hospice of Chattanooga to pay for the services of sitters for Hospice patients.
The store will offer used clothing, furniture, electronics, appliances and other household items.
Store hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., seven days a week.
