Donald Mroz
Donald Mroz, 63, of Harrison, died on Thursday, January 21, 2010 at Hamilton Medical Center in Dalton.
He was born December 16, 1946 in Johnson City, New York to the late Henry and Anna Mroz.
Mr. Mroz was an electrical engineer and was currently serving as an assistant professor at Dalton State College. He was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Reva Mroz; three sons, David A. Mroz and his wife, Michele, of Harrison; Mike P. Mroz and his wife, Mandy of Hixson; Paul T. Mroz and his wife, Charity of Harrison; eight grandchildren, Kayla, Daniel, Kendall, Riley, Jacob, Tristan, Nathan, and Olivia; one niece, Jenny; two sisters, Laureen Meier, of Florida; Janice Hennessey of Georgia.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Jan. 23, at 11 a.m. at St. Jude Catholic Church with Father Jim Vick officiating.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, from 10–11 a.m. at the church prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like for memorial contribution to be made to the Catholic School of your choice in honor and memory of Mr. Mroz.
