Jeff Kemp Is Speaker For Chattanooga Area Leadership Prayer Breakfast On May 3

NFL quarterback Jeff Kemp is this year's speaker for the 33rd annual Chattanooga Area Leadership Prayer Breakfast.

It will be held Tuesday, May 3, at the Convention Center.

Doors open at 6:45 a.m. A buffet is at 7 a.m. and the program is from 7:20 a.m. to 8:45 a.m.

Jeff Kemp was quarterback for the Los Angeles Rams, San Francisco 49ers, Seattle Seahawks and the Philadelphia Eagles. He played college football at Dartmouth College. In 1984, he led the Rams with 13 touchdowns passes and a trip to the playoffs. In 1986 as a back-up to the injured Joe Montana, he threw 11 touchdowns for the 49ers.

He is the son of late former NFL quarterback and politician Jack Kemp and brother of former Canadian Football League quarterback Jimmy Kemp.

Cost is $20 per person or $160 per table of eight.

Free parking is at the Finley Stadium lots with a free shuttle bus from Finley to the Convention Center every five minutes beginning at 6:15 a.m.

The purpose of the Chattanooga Area Leadership Prayer Breakfast is "to encourage morality and ethics in the lives of all people in positions of leadership in business, government, and in professions."

There was a record attendance of approximately 1,800 at last year's event.
