Baylor's Vines Sixth At World Fencing Championships

Baylor Latin teacher and fencing coach Kristin Vines took sixth place in the Ladies Foil 50-59 age group at the Veteran Fencing World Championships held recently in Krems, Austria.

Vines entered the event as the 29 seed, quickly moved up to tenth after the first round of competition, and progressed through two elimination rounds before losing to the eventual gold medal winner.
