Betty Louise Parrish, 75, died on Sunday morning, December 30, 2012.
She was a member of Canaan Baptist Church. She was retired from Arcade Printing Company.
She was preceded in death by parents Sim and Ida Thompson; sisters Geneva Barksdale and Rachel Moss; brothers Chester, Lavoid and LaFayette Thompson.
She is survived by daughters, Sharon (Luther) Carr and Annette (Freddie) Pickett, Whitwell; son, Michael (Penny) French, Powells Crossroads; grandchildren, Brian Carr, Derrick McGowa n, Alicia Carr LaBonne, Brittany Pickett, Stephanie French Layne; great-grandchildren, Austin McGowan and Adleigh Carr; several nieces and nephews; good friend and neighbor, Bennie McBee.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 2, at 1 p.m. CST in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Harold Taylor and Minister Richard Sain officiating. Burial will be in the Whitwell Memorial Cemetery.
Arrangements are by Reed Funeral Home, 11675 Highway 28, Whitwell, Tn.
