December Allied Health Information Session Begins Thursday

The dental assisting program at Chattanooga State Community College will host an information session on Dec. 6, at 5:30 p.m. on the second floor of the Health Science Center in room 2028. Attendance is required for anyone planning to enroll in the program in the fall semester.

Topics to be discussed during the information session include the application process, admission requirements, selection process, program overview, curriculum, and career opportunities. There will also be a question and answer period.

Dental assisting is a technical certificate program that is three semesters in length and requires the completion of 48 hours. Students can continue their studies by working to complete an Associate of Applied Science degree. The deadline to enroll in the program is June 15, 2013.
