Gloria Postell
Gloria Elizabeth Postell, 80, died on Wednesday, February 22, 2012.
She was a lifetime resident of Chattanooga. She was born on Dec. 13, 1931. She was of the Holiness faith.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Nathaniel Postell; daughter, Cynthia Ann Postell and brother, Billy Sanders.
Survivors include her sons, Clifford, Sanders, Joseph (Geraldine) and Michael (Ludie) Postell, all of Chattanooga; fourteen grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Verdell Postell of Chattanooga and Margaret Pollock of Sterling Heights, Mi.; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, February 26, at New Anointing Pure Holiness Church of God with Bishop A. D. Ringer officiating and Elder Moses Postell Eulogist. Interment will be on Monday, February 27, at 11:30 a.m. at National Cemetery.
The body will lie in state after noon on Saturday, February 25, with the family receiving friends from 6–7 p.m. at John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Ave., 622-9995.
